This trio led by the most famous Portuguese jazz musician today, even if living in Berlin, is quite unique in multiple ways. Onstage, they bring their excellent music to another level of musicianship, and develop a rare kinetic empathy.

Over the years, they have been able to keep their music alive by touring extensively worldwide and releasing great studio albums. We are possibly talking about the best guitar-bass-drums trio in Europe these days and there’s no better way to experience this than by catching them live in the act.

Coming from classical music, Bica is a world-class arco player in any genre, lending also his pizzicato art to amazing basslines exploring his own unique compositions that are rooted as much in Portuguese music as they are in Americana, rock, pop, as well as European jazz and music traditions. Along with American mastermind, Jim Black, and German wizard, Frank Möbus, they have been finding new ways to "jazz" for 20 years.

This concert will be recorded for their first live record ever.
